Kanat is of slightly shorter than average height with short, layered black hair minus one braid she has not cut since she left her homeland. Her eyes are a vibrant rose quartz color behind thin framed glasses and she has a dark complexion. Most of the time, her lips are quirked in a smile and loves a good joke.

A smaller sized Viera with an extra large personality, like all of her kind Kanat hails from Golmore Jungle. She made the decision to leave after the Seventh Umbral Calamity and through gritted teeth set out in the world, ending up in Limsa Lominsa. There she joined a small time pirate crew that went legal, though she prefers to show off her medical abilities rather than her crack shot.
After a few years, she left the high seas and now spends her time in Limsa Lominsa's infirmary volunteering or at the bar, telling some story or another. Would she go out adventuring again? Well, if the right people came along, who knows....
Fixing things both mechanical and biological interests Kanat and she says she's "never killed anyone that wasn't trying to kill her or her friends first". She has a penchant for jokes at sometimes inopportune times but the Viera's intentions are usually pure if a bit clumsy.
